Building on its exceptional service experience, Europe's leading transport company Girteka Logistics has ordered a further 1,500 DAF XF trucks. Earlier this year, Girteka Logistics took delivery of an initial order of 500 DAF XF tractor units.

DAF XF – exceeds expectations

The decision to opt for the first batch of 500 DAF XF trucks was made following extensive market research,” added Edvardas Liachovičius. “In daily practice, the vehicles have truly exceeded our high expectations in every respect. Not only from a business point of view, but also from the perspective of the drivers, who are very pleased with the extremely comfortable cab and the outstanding driving characteristics. In addition, DAF trucks support our efforts to reduce our CO2 footprint. The new FX sets a new standard in fuel efficiency, which is directly linked to the lowest CO2 emissions.”

Highest fuel efficiency

Girteka Logistics’ 1,500 DAF XF trucks will be equipped with the 12.9-liter PACCAR MX-13 engine (355 kW/480 hp) in combination with the new TraXon automatic transmission. The trucks are equipped with the latest technologies on board, including Predictive Cruise Control, Predictive Gear Shift, Lane Departure Warning, AEBS and Forward Collision Warning. For maximum uptime, Girteka Logistics has opted for service intervals of up to at least 200,000 kilometers.
