PACCAR chargers with 20 kW – 50 kW power support the daily operations of a truck that can be charged in the evening or overnight. Designed for convenient fast charging, PACCAR 120 kW and 180 kW chargers are suitable for fleets that operate electric vehicles on multiple routes or in multiple shifts. The 180 kW unit has a charging capacity for most truck types in less than three hours.

The most powerful version is the 350 kW PACCAR charger, an ultra-fast solution that can charge vehicles to full capacity in less than two hours or quickly charge two vehicles simultaneously. Mobile chargers are ideal for roadside assistance or workshops where flexibility is required.

Effective communication

Integration with DAF’s fully electric trucks, the charging hardware and network software are provided by DAF and its partners, who have up to ten years of experience in the charging technology industry. Where necessary, the partners will carry out site assessments, energy modelling and engineering at the customer’s premises. They will also maintain the charging equipment. This ensures flawless communication between the trucks and the chargers.

Designed for convenient fast charging of all electric vehicles, the 120kW and 180kW chargers are designed for fleets operating multiple routes or even multiple shifts. The 180kW unit has enough power to charge most trucks in less than four hours.

From 120 kW upwards, most chargers can charge multiple vehicles in parallel. For EV fleet operators, the 350 kW ultra-fast charger can charge one vehicle at full power or split power between two vehicles simultaneously. The 180 kW charger can distribute power across three feeders.

The full range of electric vehicle charging stations is backed by a two-year warranty. Most chargers include RFID or PIN authentication. Two years of full service is included with the chargers.

Customers can purchase the chargers from DAF dealers and TRP store locations worldwide, choosing from several DC fast chargers up to 1000 V DC. PACCAR Parts offers a tailored approach to charging solutions that include matching options with charging power from 20 kW to 360 kW. Mobile chargers are available to provide maximum flexibility. The 50 kW model supports the daily operations of an individual truck in medium and heavy fleets.
