First-class interior
The new CF and XF versions have been built to all the standards of excellence in driver comfort for which DAF trucks are renowned worldwide. They offer the largest interior space available on the market, the best and largest beds, and a completely new and attractive look and presence.
Thanks to the intelligent design of the electronic system, the position of the individual switches can be adapted to the driver's personal preferences. This contributes to increased comfort for the driver as well as maximum efficiency for the vehicle. The way the switches have been designed also makes it easier for dealers and bodybuilders to add new functions without the need to install additional control panels.
Engine line of excellence
The new CF and XF are powered by the PACCAR MX-11 and MX-13 multi-speed engines, which develop new power. The many innovations result in even more torque at low revs, ensuring maximum fuel efficiency.
Innovations in the fieldENGINE
For maximum fuel economy, fully variable oil pumps, steering and cooling, a new set of piston rings and a new piston skirt profile have been integrated, which together contribute to further reducing friction. In addition, we have installed a new turbocharger and a new combustion system for maximum efficiency.
High-performance gearboxes
The new CF and XF models are factory-fitted with the latest generation of TraXon automatic gearboxes (12 and 16 speeds). Lower friction losses, faster gear changes and extensive use of the EcoRoll option contribute to low fuel consumption, while driver comfort is enhanced by its quiet and smooth operation, ensuring precise clutch actuation. The TraXon automatic gearbox also allows for higher downshifts in lower gears, enabling even faster engine lines.

DAF's principle of pure excellence was also fully implemented in the design of the new chassis.
Robust, lightweight and with superb maneuverability
DAF's principle of pure excellence has also been fully implemented in the design of the new chassis. Made of high-quality steel, it is both strong and light. In tractor heads and some chassis, the robust and lightweight rear axle is fitted with a Stabilink construction. The low weight increases fuel economy and payload, for greater transport efficiency. The Stabilink suspension on the rear axle ensures optimum driving stability, higher loads and superb handling.
Maximum flexibility
The new CF and XF models offer unparalleled efficiency when it comes to chassis configurations. Components can be positioned to optimally match customer-specific requirements for maximum space efficiency. In addition, there is sufficient space for mounting pumping systems, support legs or large fuel tanks. The intelligent chassis layout of the tractor units allows tanks with a volume of 1,500 liters. The variety of chassis component layout options is almost limitless, ensuring industry-leading flexibility.
Accessibility for body builders
The new CF and XF models offer an extensive Body Attachment Module (BAM) programme, which provides excellent accessibility for bodybuilders. Specific modules are available for fixed bodies and for crane installation. The chassis have a standard hole pattern at the rear for easy mounting of cross members and lifting elements. The extensive body attachment programme shortens assembly times. The bodybuilder also benefits from increased accessibility thanks to a completely flat chassis and internally installed components.
