Victory for XG⁺ comes after the "International Truck of the Year 2022" award for the new generation DAF XF, XG and XG⁺ announced last November – and, more recently, the national “Truck of the Year” awards in Portugal and Romania.

The best truck with a self-propelled chassis
DAF’s well-known CF distribution truck series took the title of “best chassis truck”. The jury said: “The CF is a clear winner in the heavy chassis category. This is by far the best multi-purpose chassis package, meeting the needs of fleets in all types of industrial sectors. Reliability, payload, driver appeal, distributor support and favourable operating costs are among its many winning attributes.”

In addition, DAF’s urban distribution truck, the unrivalled LF series, was crowned ‘Best Light Two-Axle Chassis Truck’. “The LF dominates the UK 7.5 tonne truck market and it’s easy to see why: excellent reliability, competitive pricing and best-in-business dealer support give fleets immense confidence in the truck.
