ISUZU - Transmission

Manual transmission

Common manual transmission, depending on version – 5 and 6 speeds. The first gear ratio is reduced to facilitate starting in difficult conditions.

Nees II Transmission

It represents an advanced, time-proven technology; it is ideal for use in heavy traffic, essential for vehicles whose operations involve frequent stops and starts. In addition to driving in automatic mode, the transmission allows the selection of sequential driving mode, by moving the lever to the right and using the appropriate gear.

The Isuzu robotic gearbox combines the low consumption of a manual transmission with a number of advantages of an automatic gearbox: driving comfort, ease of use, reduced wear of components. In the acceleration phase of the vehicle, the NEES transmission uses a hydraulic clutch. Thanks to this technology, wear of mechanical parts is eliminated, resulting in a significant reduction in vehicle operating costs and this is the reason why it is so popular with more and more customers.

NEES gearboxes for vehicles with 3.0-liter engines are designed according to a new design: EURO VI vehicles have 50% more starting torque. All these transmissions include an ECO button, which modulates the gearbox behavior to support fuel economy. 1ST (1st Start) button – in case of compression, first gear is engaged when starting the vehicle, allowing easy starting even on steep slopes. If a fault occurs, the system switches to emergency mode, which allows the vehicle to continue driving.
