Adaptive Capacity
To meet all your needs, the DAF Electric series can be configured with a variety of battery packs and different setups. You can install multiple battery packs for increased energy capacity (141 to 525 kWh) and extended range for long-distance transport. Alternatively, fewer battery packs can be installed to create free space on one side for a specific body type, such as a side loader. As an early adopter of LFP technology, DAF has chosen the safest, most durable, and sustainable battery technology: high lifecycle batteries without the use of rare materials.
Smooth Driving
The DAF Electric program includes a full range of highly efficient central propulsion systems. From the direct-drive electric motors of 120 to 190 kW in the XB Electric model to the powerful electric motors of 170 to 350 kW with automatic transmission systems in the XD and XF Electric series. The gear-shifting technology, using two electric motors to mitigate torque differences during shifts, allows for smooth transitions and makes driving these electric trucks feel like a future-forward experience.
Efficiency and Range
When discussing electric trucks, efficiency and range are key topics. Thanks to the modular configuration of DAF Electric trucks, there are numerous options for energy storage. Range depends on configuration, application, driving style, and many other factors, such as the use of auxiliary equipment. Average energy consumption for typical scenarios ranges between 0.7 and 1.2 kWh/km. Our XB Electric model can reach up to 350 km, while the XD and XF models can achieve up to 500 km on a single charge.

FAST CHARGING
The key to optimal uptime is recharging energy as quickly and efficiently as possible. There are multiple ways to achieve this. DAF Electric vehicles are equipped with industry-standard CCS2 charging ports to facilitate fast charging. We also offer an AC charging solution (22 kW) and fast charging options ranging from 150 to 325 kW. Charging up to 80% can be achieved in just 45 minutes, allowing you to stay on the road as much as possible! As a full mobility provider, DAF can facilitate the creation of an appropriate charging infrastructure with our PACCAR chargers.
SMART PLANNING
The DAF Electric truck charges in the most efficient way based on the driver’s needs. Simply tell it how far you need to drive after charging and when you want to start driving again, and it will ensure it’s charged on time while monitoring the battery’s health. Additionally, it will make sure the cabin is conditioned and comfortable at the desired departure time.
